“Our people are our business” is a phrase used in many organisations, but for Diaverum, this cannot be more true. We would not be anything without our fantastic people that work every day to provide life-enhancing renal care to our patients. For this reason, we truly believe that, to provide True care means we must also care for them.

For Diaverum, well-being goes beyond physical health. It encompasses mental, emotional and social wellness, recognising that a holistic approach is essential to nurturing a motivated, engaged and resilient workforce. We have worked hard to integrate this into our True care culture, by fostering an inclusive environment where employees feel a sense of belonging, purpose and fulfilment. This ultimately stems from the understanding that when our people are well, they are empowered to deliver life-enhancing renal care that impacts the lives of thousands of patients. For this reason, a robust well-being policy is a critical component of our business strategy.

At the heart of translating this strategy into practice, is Diaverum’s Well-being Ambassador network. Whether they’re inspiring colleagues with their enthusiasm for well-being activities, their passion for culture, or bringing groups together for team activities, these individuals are playing a pivotal role in paving the way for Diaverum to cement itself as a healthcare organisation that cares for its people, as much as it does for its as its patients.

The importance of well-being in Diaverum is further underscored by the challenging nature of the work we do. Our employees, particularly those on the frontlines of patient care, often face high levels of stress and emotional strain. I strongly believe that well-being is a shared responsibility, something that must be actively cultivated at all levels of the organisation – and our Leadership has a pivotal role to play in setting the tone and modelling behaviours that promote well-being.

“Our people are our business” is one of our guiding principles. By prioritising the well-being of our employees, we are investing in the heart of our organisation, ensuring that our True care culture thrives, and that we continue to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients & the communities we serve.
